Job Title: Plumber

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Wates, a leading provider of planned and responsive maintenance services in the social housing sector. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for undertaking repair and renewal works to plumbing installations, and associated or minor maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake repair and renewal works to plumbing installations, and associated or minor maintenance tasks.
  • Work alongside colleagues or contractors to complete complex orders.
  • Use PDA to receive instructions, and to feedback electronically details of works undertaken, or works to be undertaken.
  • Liaise with Supervisors/schedulers in a timely manner when works are unable to be completed on a first visit, providing detailed information to allow works to be programmed in.
  • Afford excellent customer service to residents, client and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Multi-trade experience gained from working in a similar industry and environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
