Position Overview

We are seeking a Versatile Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

Salary and Work Schedule
  • Competitive Salary: Basic salary of £47,403 per annum, with opportunities for overtime.
  • Shift Patterns: The role involves a structured shift system averaging 42 hours per week over a three-week cycle, including:
    • Week 1: 46 hours (Monday to Thursday: 6am to 3pm; Friday: 6am to 4pm)
    • Week 2: 40 hours (Monday to Thursday: 2pm to 10pm; Friday: 9am to 5pm)
    • Week 3: 40 hours (Monday to Thursday: 8pm to 6am; No Friday Nights)
Key Responsibilities

As a Versatile Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining plant and facilities to ensure minimal downtime and adherence to safety and health guidelines.
  • Collaborating with a team of engineers to achieve operational targets.
  • Participating in a supportive work environment with open communication from management.
Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A completed apprenticeship and ideally hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification and strong electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience with machinery relevant to our production processes, including conveyors, presses, mixers, and other related equipment.
