About the Role

We are seeking a Graduate Surveyor to join our dynamic Building Consultancy team at Lambert Smith Hampton. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their skills and knowledge within a thriving property consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to senior surveyors in the Building Consultancy team, encompassing tasks such as office fit-outs, design oversight, contract administration, dilapidations assessments, condition surveys, and party wall agreements.

Your Duties

  • Cultivate your expertise towards achieving Chartered membership with the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
  • Collaborate effectively with experienced colleagues to execute instructions and contribute to project success.
  • Actively participate in financial targets and strive for excellence in service delivery.
  • Foster strong relationships with other departments within LSH, promoting a collaborative and integrated approach.
  • Represent the comprehensive range of property services offered by Lambert Smith Hampton to clients and stakeholders.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Possess qualifications that enable you to apply for RICS Chartered membership.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Hold a valid UK driving license.

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the multi-disciplinary structure within a surveying firm.
  • Possess awareness of how Building Consultancy contributes to the success of other departments within LSH.
