About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Security Specialist to join our team at Client Server. As an Application Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with software development, infrastructure, and business teams to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Oversee the GitLab development pipeline and ensure security practices are embedded into the development lifecycle.
  • Configure WAF and security defenses to protect against threats.
  • Communicate security best practices across the business and work with development and architecture teams to model threats.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge and practical experience with Application Security.
  • Experience with GitLab pipelines and Akamai/WAF security software.
  • Experience with Threat Modelling and automated Security Testing.
  • Ability to read software development languages such as Java, JavaScript.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree educated in Computer Science or similar STEM discipline.
