Roofing Manager Role Overview

At First People Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Roofing Manager to lead our roofing projects across various sites. This role involves managing multiple roofing projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety. You will collaborate closely with existing Roofing Managers and Supervisors, providing leadership and expertise in delivering successful roofing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage roofing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
* Attend meetings with clients to understand project scope and requirements, providing clear and concise communication.
* Collaborate with Roofing Supervisors on estimating and tendering, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
* Provide detailed written quotations to clients, highlighting the benefits and value of our roofing solutions.
* Monitor project costs versus income, reporting to the Board of Directors monthly, ensuring financial transparency and accountability.
* Ensure Health and Safety compliance in coordination with the Health and Safety Manager, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years of experience in the roofing industry, ideally with large reputable firms, demonstrating expertise and leadership skills.
* Strong knowledge of steel roofing/cladding and single-ply membrane systems, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and IT skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* A proactive, problem-solving approach with a focus on excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

* Full UK Driving Licence, with a clean driving record.
