Job Summary:

Plus One Recruitment is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join their finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
  • Manage daily banking activities, including online transactions, fund transfers, and payment processing.
  • Handle internal inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank, petty cash, and general ledgers to ensure accuracy.
  • Process client billing accounts, issue cheques, and pay interest on client account monies.
  • Assist with supplier payments and general administration tasks.
  • Communicate with banks and resolve queries and cheque cancellations.
  • Reconcile control accounts as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in general accounting procedures in compliance with financial regulations.
  • Credit control skills are advantageous.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
  • Methodical approach to work and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong team player with a commitment to delivering results.
