As a Residential Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation of our care home, leading and motivating your team to deliver exceptional care, and exceeding internal quality expectations and those of the CQC.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management: Ensure the efficient and effective management of the care home, including staff supervision, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
  2. Leadership and Team Management: Lead, motivate, and inspire your team to deliver high-quality care, exceeding internal quality expectations and those of the CQC.
  3. Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, including healthcare providers, social services, and other stakeholders.
  4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that the care home meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: A strong background in residential care, particularly in elderly care, with experience at Home Manager level.
  2. Leadership Skills: Dynamic, confident, and innovative leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  3. Networking and Team Management: Good networking and team management abilities, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external agencies.
  4. Knowledge and Skills: Experience in residential care homes for older people, including mental health and dementia, with a strong understanding of quality assurance and compliance.
