Airport Planner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Airport Planner to join our team at Planning Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in aviation and airport terminal design, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understanding of airport client requirements and contemporary aviation design issues.
  • Involvement in masterplanning, terminal planning, and capacity planning.
  • Ability to combine conceptual thinking with masterplanning, implementation scenarios, and business planning.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, concept designs, due diligence, and terminal simulation modeling.
  • Present to clients to facilitate high-level decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Airport Planners and Architects on various projects.
Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, legislation, and design principles.
  • Experience in airport masterplanning, airfield and stand planning, terminal and facility planning.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of dynamic simulation software is preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
