Job Overview

Quarsh, a B Corp Certified company, is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our environmental monitoring devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management: Develop and maintain quality assurance systems, ensuring consistency with customer requirements and established standards.
  • Compliance and Certification: Manage and maintain quality certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and various hazardous area product approvals.
  • Audit and Calibration: Ensure that audits, non-conformances, and equipment calibrations are progressed and up to date.
  • Process Development: Oversee the development, modification, application, and maintenance of standards for quality operating methods, processes, systems, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: HNC or higher in engineering or a related field is required.
  • Certifications: Auditor trained CQI-IRCA ISO 9001:2015 or similar, and Level 5 qualification or above in Quality Assurance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years progressive quality experience, with excellent knowledge of manufacturing quality processes and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Knowledge of quality management and improvement practices and programs such as Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, TQM, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO, etc.
  • Knowledge of SAP/ERP is desired.
