Job Title: Senior Java Developer

About the Role:

Mastek is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team in a multi-vendor project with a shared code base. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cloud native applications using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud native applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot
  • Develop strong understanding of Microservice architecture and RESTful APIs
  • Implement unit and integration tests using Junit, Mockito, and PowerMockito
  • Experience with CICD pipeline using Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
  • Good understanding of JSON and XML
  • Experience with Relational Database Management System (e.g. PostgreSQL)

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Workflow/Business Process Management tools
  • Experience with front end technologies: HTML, JavaScript, Jquery, Mustache Templates
  • Experience with Performance and Monitoring tools: JMeter, Kibana, Splunk, Dynatrace
  • Experience writing Shell script
  • Basic understanding of Python
  • Good understanding on AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, API Gateway and Serverless technologies)
  • Integration Engine tools: Apache Camel and Active MQ for messaging, web services and distributed systems
  • Public Sector domain experience preferable
