About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our Contract Administration Team at Michael Dyson Associates Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Contract Administrator for various projects
  • Prepare specifications and schedules of work
  • Conduct site inspections and quality management
  • Attend site meetings and provide cost control
  • Coordinate design and CDM Consultant/Principal Designer duties
  • Manage Party Wall Act surveys and property surveys
  • Lead a small team of less experienced surveyors
Requirements
  • RICS or CIOB accredited construction degree
  • 5 years post-qualification experience in new build and refurbishment projects
  • Proven technical skills and experience in providing similar services
  • Experience in managing teams and providing guidance, mentoring, and leadership skills
  • Confident communicator and experienced in client-facing roles
  • Ability to manage client relationships and service delivery
  • Willingness to travel across the UK
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
