Experienced Project Management Consultant

We are seeking skilled Project Managers to enhance our growing Real Estate division.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Project Management assignments, ensuring comprehensive service delivery, particularly for large-scale or intricate projects.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, guaranteeing that client goals are achieved and projects are completed within budget and timeline constraints while meeting quality benchmarks.
Project Scope
Project Managers will manage assignments of varying sizes and complexities, typically up to £40 million in value. In advisory roles, such as urban regeneration funding, the overall project scale may be significantly larger.
Project Management Duties
- Provide strategic advice during the project initiation phase, including guidance on various methodologies to meet client objectives.
- Establish overall success criteria for projects, encompassing time, cost, technical, and performance metrics.
- Plan and manage quality, safety, health, and environmental considerations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement effective project governance, processes, and systems.
- Develop detailed project plans and ensure their execution.
- Advise on resource procurement strategies.
- Lead and coordinate the cross-functional project team.
- Utilize performance management techniques, including KPIs, to enhance project outcomes.
- Manage the change control process effectively.
- Monitor and advise on project financials.
- Facilitate communication between the project team and clients through regular updates and documentation.
- Prepare formal project progress reports and other necessary documentation.
- Engage with clients and consultants throughout all project phases.
Business Development Responsibilities
- Drive the development of new business opportunities with current and prospective clients.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior management to prepare bids for new projects.
- Participate in client presentations alongside senior leadership.
- Maintain up-to-date project case studies and documentation.
- Explore opportunities to enhance project management services and products.
Internal Management Responsibilities
- Manage staff where applicable, including participating in recruitment and performance evaluations.
- Ensure that valuable insights and lessons learned from projects are documented in the internal database.
- Oversee financial management, ensuring timely client invoicing and monitoring project financial health.
- Identify and implement improvements to internal processes and systems.
Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience managing Real Estate projects, preferably in a consultancy setting.
