Exciting Opportunity for a Finance & Actuarial Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance & Actuarial Business Analyst to join our team at MS Amlin and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding and assessing the evolving needs of the business, playing a crucial role in ensuring the success of projects and initiatives through effective communication between stakeholders and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a Finance Change team to gather and analyze business requirements, and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth.
  • Optimize business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
  • Analyze complex data to draw conclusions, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Identify and evaluate options to meet user requirements, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Act as a key point of contact between business stakeholders and relevant teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Update process documentation in line with changes implemented, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in insurance business analysis, with a strong understanding of the London Market (Lloyd's) operations.
  • Familiarity with project management principles, and experience working with external suppliers and across various business functions.
  • Certification in Business Analysis is a plus, but not required.
