About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Controller to join our team at Northgate Vehicle Hire Limited. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for supporting the Workshop Manager in the running of the internal parts department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the workshop budget, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and issuance of parts, ensuring efficient inventory management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Collaborate with the Workshop Manager to optimize parts usage, reducing waste and improving efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong budgeting and cost control skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
