Job Title: Financial Controller
Join Sixty Eight People, a growing hospitality brand, as we seek an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance function.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our senior management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the financial future of our company and driving growth through effective financial planning and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws
- Lead and manage a team of finance professionals to achieve business objectives
- Develop and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) with 4-5 years' experience in a hospitality finance division
- Advanced excel skills and experience with accounting software
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Drive for continuous improvement and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs
