We are seeking a Senior Site Engineer to be part of our utilities division at Kier Group, specifically within our Natural Resources sector. This role involves overseeing operations at our wastewater treatment facilities.

Employment Type:
Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be considered upon request.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will take charge of supervising the workforce at the wastewater treatment works. Your responsibilities will encompass capital projects in the water sector, focusing on upgrades and enhancing the resilience of treatment facilities.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Conducting Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and managing technical inquiries, along with producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and assisting with short-term work schedules.
- Raising Technical Queries (TQs) regarding proposed designs and ensuring compliance with quality control standards as per specifications.
- Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Ensuring that all materials and work performed meet specifications, while collaborating with the project planner and Project Manager.
- Planning and procuring equipment and materials necessary for site setup and throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a Senior Site Engineer who possesses:
- A Civil Engineering HND/Degree or equivalent experience in a main contractor civil engineering environment.
- Familiarity with contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, program and risk management, as well as cost control including forecasting and value reporting.
- Expertise in developing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for specific tasks.
- A valid CSCS Card.
