About the Role

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of mental health services in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the diagnosis and management of psychiatric disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health services in the region
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)Eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCTExperience in medical education, including teaching and pedagogical methodologiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient careHow to Apply
