Job Title: Composite Quality Engineer

Red Bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT) is a pioneering organization that pushes the boundaries of innovation and engineering excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled Composite Quality Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge projects across land, sea, and air.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) working practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure they understand and meet our Quality requirements, ensuring seamless transitions and efficient stock management.
  • Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify and mitigate potential risks, and contribute to the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to validate Design for Manufacture/Assembly (DFM/A).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar Quality role within the manufacturing and/or Assembly production industry.
  • Strong background in Composite and Mechanical engineering, with a focus on Quality Assurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge and experience in the deployment and use of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Gauge R&R, and FMEA.
  • Good understanding of Metrology principles and measurement techniques/equipment, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
