About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for analyzing current reports to identify data lineage, working closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes and map them to data requirements, and collaborating with data warehouse partners to translate reporting requirements into data requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze reports to identify data lineage and work with business stakeholders to understand business processes.
- Map business processes to data requirements and collaborate with data warehouse partners to translate reporting requirements.
- Work with data stewards to define data elements and metrics.
- Align business and technology stakeholders to achieve data definition alignment.
- Create detailed requirements for data teams, capturing functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure solution alignment with data governance standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with business and IT partners.
- Develop report wireframes for business review and approval.
- Provide inputs and guidance to data teams on solution design.
- Work with QA teams to ensure adequate test coverage and guide testing approaches.
- Engage with business users to ensure successful user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with report developers to build reports based on wireframes and define report availability and performance SLAs.
- Cater communication around complex technical problems and solutions to various audiences.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience creating wireframes and interacting with business users.
- Experience working on Microsoft Azure Technologies.
- Experience building reports in SSRS, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Good knowledge of the consumer finance business.
