Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Estimator to join their team. As a Senior Geotechnical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the company's success by providing expert estimating services for geotechnical projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Take ownership of estimating opportunities from initial enquiry to handover with the delivery team.
- Collaborate closely with in-house engineering and delivery teams to craft detailed and effective tender proposals.
- Engage in Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) during the early stages of prospective projects.
- Coordinate design efforts for Design & Build (D&B) contracts.
- Prepare estimates and develop compelling tender submissions to secure new work.
- Present geotechnical solutions to potential clients, clearly communicating their value and benefits.
- 5+ years of experience in the specialist ground engineering field.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical principles.
- Proven experience in estimating packages related to piling, slope stabilization, ground anchoring, or grouting.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with colleagues, prospective clients, external consultants, and other industry professionals.
- Experience in estimating from first principles.
