Job Title: Child/Family Solicitor

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Child/Family Solicitor to join our team at Essential Employment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in local government childcare proceedings and be able to provide advocacy in contested and uncontested hearings in Court.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on legal matters primarily relating to all areas of Social Services and Education
  • Provide advocacy in contested and uncontested hearings in Court
  • Instruct Counsel at the Family Court, including the preparation and management of cases

Requirements:

  • Experience in local government childcare proceedings
  • Ability to do own advocacy
  • Strong knowledge of Social Services and Education law
