We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Harm Reduction Specialist to join our team at TLC: Talk, Listen, Change. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting adults experiencing homelessness who are seeking to change their harmful behaviors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct individual sessions and group work with clients to identify challenges and develop actionable plans for improvement.
- Collaborate with various agencies to connect clients to resources and services that meet their complex needs.
- Implement effective risk management strategies and serve as a mentor to clients.
- Deliver targeted program materials focused on harm reduction, early intervention, and behavior modification in both individual and group settings.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting vulnerable populations and has experience working in a therapeutic setting. You should be skilled at managing interactions in both one-on-one and group settings and have a strong background in managing safeguarding concerns.
As a Harm Reduction Specialist, you will be part of a broader partnership that delivers a range of interventions to support individuals, families, and the wider community. You will work closely with senior staff to ensure that clients receive comprehensive support and are connected to the resources they need.
