Job Title: Regional Technical Manager - Subsidence and Surveying Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Technical Manager to join our team at Davies. As a key member of our Subsidence and Surveying Division, you will be responsible for providing professional technical services to our clients, including subsidence and surveying expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, policyholders, and internal stakeholders on subsidence and surveying-related matters.
  • Conduct site visits to assess technical and insurance aspects of claims, and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, policyholders, and third-party stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including claims handlers and support staff, to ensure seamless communication and efficient claim resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in technical services.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records on our claims management IT system, ensuring timely and efficient data entry and reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives, meet service level agreements, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level education in a relevant discipline, such as Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Building Surveying.
  • Proven experience in subsidence and surveying, with a strong understanding of technical and insurance aspects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data and provide clear recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet business needs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
