History Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced History Teacher to join our team at a partner school in Colchester. This is a long-term role that offers a competitive rate of pay and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students in KS3 to KS5
  • Plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience of teaching History in a UK secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
