About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Mar Hall Hospitality Limited. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in the development of new menu items
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to achieve culinary excellence
  • Assist the Head Chef in all sections in all kitchens within the Hotel facilities
  • Support the kitchen team to deliver high standards and customer satisfaction during service periods
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
  • Assist with the management of health and safety
  • Supervise and train Commis Chefs
  • Clean down the section at the close of each shift and assist with any other cleaning tasks as required
  • Ensure wastage is kept to a minimum and preventative measures are fully understood

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and culinary principles
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in your culinary career
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-quality dishes
