KEY OBJECTIVE:
OVERSEE AND OPTIMIZE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE QUALITY ASSURANCE TEAM. MINIMIZE NON-CONFORMANCE EXPENSES AND STRIVE FOR FIRST-TIME RIGHT WITH ZERO CLIENT COMPLAINTS. ADVANCE TOWARDS TOTAL QUALITY OWNERSHIP AMONG ALL STAFF.

ASSESS AND REVISE PROCEDURES AND OPERATIONS TO ENSURE ALIGNMENT WITH ESTABLISHED TOTAL QUALITY STANDARDS.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure product excellence and pursue ongoing total quality enhancement.

2. Create cost-efficient processes to promote total quality.

3. Maintain relevant ISO and AS EN 9100 certifications or equivalent, along with other best practice standards.

4. Support the management team with guidance and assistance.

5. Identify quality-related costs and work diligently to minimize them.

6.

Engage with clients and suppliers regarding drawing inquiries, concessions, or any issues arising within the department, following established procedures. Visit clients/suppliers as necessary to enhance relationships and provide required services.



7. Deliver timely inspection and quality support services to operations, meeting scheduled lead times.

8. Responsible for the daily operations of the

Quality Department:

  • 1. All forms of inspection and testing, including initial, intermediate, and final inspections, along with compiling analysis reports.

Supervise inspection methods and perform, as well as specify and request any specialized equipment or tooling necessary to fulfill inspection requirements or enhance service delivery.


2. Collaborate with production associates/operators as needed on rectification/rework methods.

Provide quality assurance training, including training operators in all aspects of inspection techniques and equipment, along with preparing work instructions for inspection equipment.


2. Generate FAIR and 8D reports.

3. Undertake CMM programming as required.

2. Assist in the effective management of the entire measurement and test equipment calibration system. Ensure proper usage through education, processes, and audits (no metal-to-metal contact on the shop floor, no multiple equipment...).

3. Manage the NCR database and provide quality assurance to ensure continuous improvement.

4. Oversee external and internal audits.

5. Perform any other reasonable duties as requested.
