Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Functional Consultant for Oracle Cloud Financials who is either SC cleared or eligible for SC clearance. To qualify for SC clearance, candidates must have resided in the UK for the past three years.

This role offers a hybrid working environment with occasional travel to client locations and the office.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the implementation of primary Oracle Cloud Financials modules.
  • Manage requirements definition, design, and gap analysis.
  • Oversee application configuration.
  • Facilitate functional support for technical activities, including data migration and integration.
  • Conduct solution validation workshops.
  • Provide testing support, training delivery, and post-implementation guidance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess customer-facing expertise in:

  • Oracle Cloud (SaaS) modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Cash Management, Tax, Subledger Accounting, Procurement, Assets, and Expenses.
  • Oracle Cloud Reporting tools including Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, Financial Reporting Studio, and Smartview.
  • Collaborating with other implementation consultants as part of a project team.
  • Documenting business requirements and configurations using Oracle OUM and/or AIM methodologies.
  • Creating high-quality functional specification documentation to detail business processes and facilitate technical builds.
  • Supporting clients through full testing lifecycles and Go Live phases, including test script creation.
  • Ensuring comprehensive Knowledge Transfer to clients and support teams, including training for key users.
  • Managing change requests throughout the development and testing lifecycle.
  • Liaising with Oracle for effective management of client service requests.
  • Keeping clients informed about the latest Oracle Cloud quarterly releases.
  • Ensuring timely project delivery and managing business expectations to maintain internal customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting with risk and change management on projects.
  • Advising clients on options, risks, and impacts on processes or systems.
  • Effectively communicating and driving project deliverables.
  • Completing tasks efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Providing regular status and issue reports to project managers and clients.
