AM Shift Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AM Shift Supervisor to join our team at Evri's Barnsley Hub. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Warehouse Operatives, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and deadlines are met.
  • Monitor and control the flow of goods through the warehouse, ensuring that throughput targets are achieved and quality standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the Process Manager to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring that our operations are optimized and efficient.
  • Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews with team members, providing feedback and guidance to support their development and growth.
  • Ensure that all health and safety, hygiene, and quality audits are completed to a high standard, and that risk assessments and safe systems of work are in place.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a logistics or distribution environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work at pace in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on achieving targets and deadlines.
  • PC literate, with experience of Microsoft Office products.
