We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Handler to join our team at Stride Resource Management Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for arranging and securing appropriate cover for new business and renewals, including recognizing and highlighting cross-sell opportunities or uninsured areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arranging and securing appropriate cover for new business and renewals
- Recognizing and highlighting cross-sell opportunities or uninsured areas
- Responsible for assigned renewals, MTAs, and quotations in accordance with the company renewal process and placement strategy
- Understanding clients' risk exposures and insurance needs
- Dealing with insurers and brokers regarding quotations, policy, and claims queries in accordance with the company's service level agreements
- Accurately maintaining all records on relevant systems for audit, compliance, and workflow purposes
- Managing Aged Debtors within the agreed service standards, escalating to key stakeholders where applicable
- Deal with claims according to our procedures as they arise and refer to our in-house claims team where specialist knowledge is required
- Building, managing, and maintaining relationships with internal and external brokers to deliver strategy and increase opportunities
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
- Strong influencing, negotiating, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Highly organized with a target-driven and highly motivated approach
- Team player with a can-do attitude, adaptable, focused, and professional
- Able to quickly develop a knowledge and understanding of company processes and business goals

Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Good level of knowledge of the Financial Services market and regulatory framework
- Sound understanding of commercial clients and their insurance needs
- Broking skills and a detailed knowledge of the core range of policies
- Ability to achieve and maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- Good knowledge of the core range of available insurance policies
- Knowledge and use of key insurer products and solutions
