Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute machine setups in accordance with established company protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with component quality standards and the 'First Off' inspection process.
  • Develop Fanuc CNC programs for twin spindle lathes equipped with driven tooling.
  • Collaborate with the production office on manufacturing techniques and tooling requirements.
  • Promote advancements in lights-out machining and automation within a cell environment.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, adhering to the 6S methodology and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Support corrective actions and reviews as outlined by the quality assurance team.
  • Guarantee that parts are finished and deburred according to company standards.
  • Adhere to company policies as instructed by senior management.
  • Oversee machine maintenance needs and maintain daily logs.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive experience in CNC turning, including programming for twin spindle and live tooling.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-departmental team.
  • Exceptional concentration, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
  • Prior experience with automation and lights-out machining processes.
  • Effective communication skills for two-way dialogue.
  • Commitment to quality in work and workplace environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Fanuc programming.
