About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Donor Care Specialist to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Donor Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our donors, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the blood donation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for donors throughout the blood donation process, including loading and unloading equipment
- Assemble and maintain community session donation equipment
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide a high standard of care to our donors
- Communicate effectively with donors, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Requirements:
- Higher level education
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- Excellent keyboard skills and written communication skills
- Good oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including public holidays, Sundays, and late evenings
