Public Engagement Industrial Placement Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Public Engagement Industrial Placement student. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in promoting our science and engineering to a range of audiences, including school students and the general public.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver public engagement activities, including events, workshops, and articles, to promote our science and engineering to a range of audiences.
- Work with our outreach, education, and skills team to deliver public engagement events and activities.
- Support the development of creative resources for scientists and engineers to take to festivals, fairs, and schools.
- Contribute to the development of our social media channels and website.
We are part of the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) organisation, which brings together the seven disciplinary research councils, Research England, and Innovate UK. Our mission is to ensure the UK maintains its world-leading position in research and innovation.
