Gregory Distribution is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 1 (CE) Licence holder to join our team as a Tanker Driver specializing in waste collection.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of liquid sludge throughout the South West region. Your duties will encompass planning daily routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with both the transport team and our valued customers.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and deliver liquid sludge within a designated area.
  • Develop and execute efficient daily transportation routes.
  • Provide regular updates to the transport team regarding progress and address customer inquiries promptly.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through both face-to-face interactions and phone calls.
  • Actively participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Possess a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence.
  • Hold a current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Demonstrate prior experience operating vacuum tankers and handling wastewater (training provided for specific procedures).
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Show a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain a confident, polite, and collaborative demeanor as part of a team.
  • Possess a good understanding of local geography within the assigned area.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and self-motivation.

Gregory Distribution offers a competitive salary range between £35,791 - £41,012 per year. The position involves a Monday to Friday work schedule with occasional Saturdays.
