Parking Enforcement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Parking Appeals and Representations team, you will be responsible for investigating and responding to parking-related correspondence, including formal and informal representations and appeals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and respond to parking-related correspondence, including formal and informal representations and appeals.
  • Ensure parking enquiries are dealt with in line with statutory process and timescales, internal KPIs, civil procedural rules, and the council's communication procedures.
  • Attend external Adjudication Hearings and give evidence, preparing proofs of evidence as required.
  • Manage and prioritize your own workload in response to changing demands from management.
  • Ensure daily quality and quantity performance standards are met or exceeded, and correspondence conforms to relevant quality, policy, and legislative standards.

Requirements:

  • 6 months (or more) experience in dealing with Formal Representations and/or informal appeals made against the PCN (issued within London).
  • Full understanding of TMA 2004 & RTA 1991.
