Mobile Smart Repair Technician

We are seeking an experienced Smart Repair Technician to join our client's team in Wolverhampton on a permanent basis. As a Smart Repair Technician, you will carry out repairs on a mobile basis, ensuring a high-quality service is provided for the customer every time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service to all customers.
  • Explain the repair process to the customer before commencing work.
  • Follow health and safety measures at all times.
  • Take card payments from customers.
  • Advise and provide aftercare and insurance materials.
  • Perform alloy wheel refurbishment, diamond cut and shadow chrome repairs, bumper corner repairs, wing mirror repairs, painted trim repairs, panel repairs, touch-in chips on bonnets, door handle repairs, and report to the Technical Operations Manager.

There will be 2 weeks of paid training in Rugby, Warwickshire, with accommodation provided. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding, and previous experience of working within a Smart repair role, as well as a good understanding of all Smart repair processes. They will also need to be hardworking and reliable, with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication and time management skills.

We are looking for someone who is able to work well under their own initiative as well as part of a team, and who holds a category B driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences. ATA or IMI accreditation is desirable but not essential.
