Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct Interventional Procedures: Execute a diverse array of neuro and general interventional radiographic procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
- Operate Imaging Technology: Utilize advanced Philips imaging systems (Allura and Azurion) to generate superior diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work in close partnership with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain Patient Documentation: Ensure meticulous and precise patient records, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Engage in Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing learning and professional development to remain current with the latest advancements in interventional radiography.
- Deliver Patient-Centered Care: Provide compassionate care, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients throughout their procedures.
- Quality Assurance Participation: Engage in quality assurance initiatives to uphold high standards of practice and patient care.
- Mentor and Train: Assist in the training and development of junior staff and students, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Working Conditions:
- Work Schedule: 5 days per week, with the possibility of 7 days.
- Work Hours: Standard hours per week, hours per day (8:30-5).
- Compensation: Competitive rates for Day, Night/Saturday, and Sunday/Bank Holiday shifts.
- Assignment Duration: Temporary position with a defined length.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Demonstrated expertise in neuro and general interventional radiography.
- Technical Proficiency: Preferable familiarity with Philips imaging equipment (Allura and Azurion).
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
- Independent Work Capability: Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a demanding workload.
- Commitment to Professional Development: Dedication to ongoing professional growth and adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
