Job Description:

Field Service Engineer Role:

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment in the Burton Upon Trent & Swadlincote area. The role will involve:

  1. Carrying out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
  2. Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  3. Completing comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  4. Spares placed in van overnight

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment experience; automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  2. Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
  3. Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
