Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Manager to join our team at Mental Health Matters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a welcoming and supportive environment for our clients, promoting opportunities for recovery and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Establish links with crisis and home treatment teams, hospital liaison, street triage, and other partners to promote independence and social inclusion.
- Manage a team of Crisis Recovery Workers, Peer Support Workers, and Volunteers to achieve the best person-centred care for clients.
- Provide one-to-one engagement, facilitate activities within the service and community, and perform administrative tasks.
- Identify barriers, understand client needs, and support people to achieve their goals.
- Education to Diploma or NVQ Level 3 Management or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a mental health setting, with knowledge of Primary and Secondary Care pathways.
- Ability to inspire and engage people, identify barriers, and understand client needs.
- Excellent motivational skills, including one-to-one engagement and facilitating group-based activities.
- A comprehensive in-person training program in your first week of employment.
- A minimum of 25 days annual leave per annum, plus statutory holidays, rising with length of service.
