Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to play a vital role in the upkeep and repair of heavy goods vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in utilizing hand tools, welding, and soldering, along with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on heavy goods vehicles to guarantee peak performance
- Identify and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
- Fabricate and weld components as necessary
- Carefully assemble and disassemble vehicle parts
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns
- Safely and efficiently operate power tools and forklifts
- Keep precise records of repairs and services conducted
Qualifications:
- Expertise in using hand tools, welding, soldering, and power tools
- Strong customer service abilities with a focus on surpassing client expectations
- Capability to effectively assemble, maintain, and repair heavy goods vehicles
- Previous experience in a comparable position is preferred
- Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems is advantageous
- Experience in forklift operation is a plus
