About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Cardio-Respiratory team as a Healthcare Science Assistant - Cardiographer. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist cardiologists, respiratory consultants, and cardiac physiologists with diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Perform electrocardiograms (ECG), spirometry, and ambulatory Holter recordings.
  • Work in the echocardiography section, transferring patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient care.
  • Maintain patient digital information via the hospital's electronic records system.
Requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
  • Level 2 Healthcare Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous healthcare experience, preferably in ECG.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team skills.
