About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our dynamic team at SS&L. As a 16-19 Tutor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of young learners, fostering their academic development, and preparing them for future success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of 16-19-year-old students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of curriculum materials.
  • Support delivery of level 1 sector delivery (employability, Customer Service ETC)
  • Build positive relationships with local employers and review work experience.
  • Support learners to achieve success and progress onto their next step.
