Job Summary:

The University of Worcester is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Design Lecturer to join our team and contribute to the teaching and learning experience of our students.

About the Role:

We are looking for a lecturer who can deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Graphic Design, with a focus on photography, advertising, graphic design, motion graphic, illustration, publication design, and sustainable design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures and tutorials in Graphic Design, with a focus on specialist areas such as photography, advertising, and motion graphic.
  • Develop and deliver curriculum content, including lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the Graphic Design program, including curriculum design and review.
  • Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, and contribute to the development of departmental and faculty policies.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Graphic Design, with a focus on specialist areas such as photography, advertising, and motion graphic.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary design trends and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
