Job Summary:
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentor to join our team. As a Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students in overcoming learning barriers and achieving academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the school's pastoral team to provide individualized support to students, helping them to overcome learning challenges and develop essential skills.
- Lead initiatives targeting specific student groups, creating a supportive learning environment that fosters personal growth and development.
- Establish and maintain open communication channels with teaching staff, parents, and additional needs/EAL staff to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- Supervise and support students in the Focus Area, providing guidance on tasks, ensuring completion of assignments, and collecting work.
- Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks efficiently.
- Develop and implement personalized action plans for students identified by the pastoral team, conducting individual or small group meetings based on a predetermined schedule.
- Collaborate with the pastoral team to innovate and implement effective support and intervention packages for students.
