Job Title: Semi Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Semi Senior Accountant to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with our experienced team to support a diverse client portfolio.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare tax returns and assessments for various organisational structures.
  • Assist with VAT returns and ensure timely completion.
  • Manage your own workflow and deliver client work to a high standard.
  • Liaise with HMRC on client matters and provide excellent customer service.
  • Promote and strive for customer service excellence, building strong relationships with clients.
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities to enhance your skills.

Requirements:
  • ACCA or ACA studying or ready to begin.
  • Previous experience supporting clients within practice, preferably in a small to medium-sized firm.
  • Experience preparing draft statutory accounts.
  • Good working knowledge across a variety of accounting software.
  • A team player with excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • A can-do attitude to problem-solving and self-motivation.
