Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning disabilities or special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with learning disabilities or special educational needs
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans and monitoring student progress
  • Help students with academic tasks, personal care, and daily living skills
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to support student development and well-being
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in education or special educational needs
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Prior experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or special educational needs
Preferred Qualifications:

A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

Working Conditions:

This role involves working within a school environment, following school hours and term times. May require occasional participation in school events or meetings outside regular hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
