Role Overview:
We are looking for dedicated KS1 Teachers in the Haringey region. The ideal candidates will be tasked with delivering stimulating and tailored lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our KS1 students. This is a remarkable opportunity for a committed educator to significantly influence young learners during a pivotal phase of their educational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and deliver high-quality educational experiences in accordance with the National Curriculum, ensuring that all students are engaged and appropriately challenged.
  • Establish a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that nurtures a passion for learning and supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of each child.
  • Evaluate, track, and communicate pupil progress, utilizing various assessment methods to guide instruction and provide constructive feedback.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate the diverse abilities and needs of students, ensuring that every child can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to address the individual requirements of students, including those with special educational needs or English as an additional language.
  • Engage in school-wide initiatives, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities to enhance the overall school community.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment that reflects the institution's values and ethos.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a background in teaching Key Stage 1.
  • In-depth understanding of the National Curriculum and a dedication to high educational standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A creative and adaptable teaching style, with the ability to inspire and engage young learners.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a readiness to engage in reflective practice.
  • Experience in a diverse and inclusive educational setting is preferred.
