Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to support our client's manufacturing site in Wrexham. As a key member of our team, you will lead efforts to ensure compliance, promote best practices, and drive a strong safety culture across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a Proactive HSE Culture
    • Encourage all employees to prioritize safety and environmental practices
  • Manage and Maintain HSE Management Systems
    • Ensure compliance with regulations, including ISO 45001 and ISO
  • Conduct Regular Risk Assessments
    • Implement effective control measures to mitigate potential hazards
  • Monitor and Report on HSE Performance Metrics
    • Analyze trends and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with Plant Leadership
    • Provide guidance on new equipment, projects, and processes
  • Lead Incident Investigations
    • Ensure root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented
  • Oversee Safety Training Programs
    • Ensure all employees are properly informed of their HSE responsibilities
  • Represent the Site
    • Interact with external regulatory bodies, auditors, and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar HSE role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Formal HSE qualifications, such as a NEBOSH Diploma, Environmental Management Certificate, or IEMA Certificate
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
