We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Assessor to join our team at Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group. As an Assessor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality apprenticeships and work-based training to local employers.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to promote apprenticeships and work-based training.
- Complete on-site NVQ 3 assessments in compliance with awarding body standards and monitor progress of apprentices.
- Take an active part in the recruitment of new apprentices through contact with local employers.
- Holds appropriate qualifications to level 3 along with experience in the electrical installation industry.
- Holds or willing to work towards the appropriate assessor's qualifications (TAQA Level 3, progressing onto TAQA Level 4).
- Has industry experience in Electrical Installation, with current knowledge and the ability to deliver to industry standard.
- Is well organised and able to manage the peaks and troughs of a varied workload.
- Able to communicate effectively with students and peers.
- Local Government Pension Scheme.
