About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our Waste Network team as a Team Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled Operatives to repair our sewerage network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of waste network repair and maintenance work in your area of control.
  • Manage deep and complex excavations, including construction design management (CDM) for complex works.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring safe systems of work are in place for all activities.
  • Coordinate and manage contractors and other STW staff when supporting large diameter sewer repair and improvement activities.
  • Manage budgets, including operational and capital expenditure, and deliver efficiencies.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with direct experience in managing and leading teams in a customer-focused operational environment. A good understanding of deep excavations and large diameter repairs is essential. You will also need to be able to work with customers and the general public, delivering a great customer experience.
