Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to promote Japanese food and our brand.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including chefs, food educators, influencers, and industry spokespeople.
- Conduct research to gain a holistic view of external stakeholders and industry spokespeople related to Japanese food in the UK and Europe.
- Identify, negotiate, and agree contracts with influencers, professionals, and organizations related to Japanese food.
- Attend meetings and briefings to stay up-to-date on PR activities and ensure effective communication with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Develop industry, sector, and product-focused PR campaigns to increase interest and understanding of Japanese food amongst internal members of the company.
- Ensure all communication materials adhere to our brand guidelines and accurately reflect our company's values and objectives.
- Collect product information and business know-how on Japanese food from our parent company and convey those to our European branches.
- Gather necessary information for Mizkan Euro and act as a liaison with our parent company.
- Use problem-solving and analytical skills to devise and implement strategies to achieve our communication goals.
- Prepare budget information and control the actual performances of Japanese food PR activities.
- Distribute timely information and coordinate with our senior management team within the company.
- 5+ years of relevant and solid experience as a Communication/PR management experience, preferably within related industries.
- Proficiency in social media channels and how to boost brand recognition and audience engagement.
- Business-level Japanese and English language.
- Excellent communication skills, including negotiation.
- Strong organization skills and multi-task management skills.
- Event management experience is an advantage.
- Salary - Negotiable depending on experience.
